No country for me, either
No Country for Old Men by Cormac McCarthy My review
rating: 2 of 5 starsExtremely violent and dystopic, but fantastic writing, where the character reveal themselves through dialogue and quiet observations. This book has been highly praised by critics and turned into a movie, but for me it tipped over a bit - there is such a thing as too much blood and cruelty, even if it is painted with economic strokes and brilliant contrasts.
Too much.
